MadeIT plugins have clear rules: a free plugin on WordPress.org that is complete on its own, a Pro add-on with a single license, updates through the standard WordPress dashboard, and an add-on that keeps working after the license ends.
From purchase to working in five steps
- 1
Install the free plugin
Find the MadeIT plugin on WordPress.org and install it from Plugins → Add New. The free plugin works on its own.
- 2
Order the Pro add-on
Create an account, enter the invoicing details and pay online. Right after the payment is confirmed, the license appears in your account.
- 3
Download and install
In your customer account download the ZIP file, then in WordPress choose Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and activate it.
- 4
Activate the key
Open the License screen of the add-on, paste the license key from your account and click "Save and activate". The screen shows the status and the expiry date right away.
- 5
Use it and update
New versions appear in the WordPress dashboard like any other update. Click "Update" and you are done.
What the license covers
A license is tied to the number of sites stated in the product offer (one by default) and covers 12 months of updates and technical support from the day it is issued.
- You can detach a site address in your customer account at any time and activate the license on another site, for example after changing a domain or migrating.
- After 12 months the installed version keeps working without limits. Only access to new versions and support is paused.
- You renew the license in your customer account. Renewal adds another 12 months and your key stays the same.
Updates in the WordPress dashboard
After you activate the key, the add-on checks our server for new versions and shows them in the standard places: Dashboard → Updates and the plugin list. Downloads use a short-lived signed link that expires after a few minutes.
If a new version does not show up right away, go to Dashboard → Updates and click "Check again". WordPress checks for updates periodically and this forces a check immediately.
Support from the authors
An active license entitles you to technical tickets in your customer account. Support covers installation, activation, configuration and diagnosing errors of the add-on. The conversation history is always in one place.
Your customer account also has the documentation of every plugin you bought: installation, configuration, troubleshooting and the changelog.
Payments and invoices
- Payment: online through Przelewy24 in euro. Prices include VAT.
- License delivery: automatic, within minutes of the payment being confirmed.
- Invoice: we issue it with the details from your order (also for a company with a VAT ID) and send it electronically to your email address.
- Withdrawal: a consumer has 14 days to withdraw, unless before the purchase they agreed to the immediate start of the digital content supply. The rules are described on a separate page.
What the add-on sends to our server
Only the license key and the site address, to check the license and provide the update. The free plugins on WordPress.org do not connect to our server at all. Neither sends data of your shop's customers or the content of your site. See the privacy policy for details.
