Privacy policy

1. Controller

The controller of personal data is WCO Tobiasz Gerczuk, VAT ID: PL8741719438, address: Ciche 110, 87-305 Zbiczno, Poland. Contact for personal data matters: sklep@made-it.pl.

2. What data we process and why

  • Creating and running your Account (name, email address, hashed password): performance of the contract to run the Account (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Orders and payments (order and invoicing details, including address and VAT ID, order history): performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Licenses and updates (License key, addresses of sites linked to the License, activation and last connection dates): performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Technical support (content of tickets and correspondence): performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in serving customers (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Security and abuse prevention (server logs, IP addresses): our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Establishing, pursuing or defending claims: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing the data is voluntary but necessary to create an Account and conclude the contract. We do not make automated decisions and do not profile users.

3. Data sent by plugins

The free MadeIT plugins from WordPress.org do not connect to our server. The Pro add-ons connect to our server only to activate the license, check its status and download updates. They send the License key and the address of the site where the add-on is installed. They do not send us data of your shop's customers or the content of your website.

4. Recipients

Data may be entrusted or disclosed to entities that support the Shop: hosting and email providers, the payment operator (Przelewy24), entities handling accounting and invoicing systems, and public authorities where required by law. As a rule we do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area. For payments through Przelewy24 the controller of transaction data is PayPro S.A. of Poznań, Poland; its information notice is available at https://www.przelewy24.pl/obowiazek-informacyjny-RODO-platnik.

5. Retention

  • Account data: until the Account is deleted and afterwards, to the necessary extent, until limitation periods for claims expire.
  • Accounting and tax documents: for the period required by law, as a rule 5 years from the end of the tax year.
  • Support tickets: up to 3 years after they are closed.
  • Application logs: up to 14 days. Hosting server logs are kept by the hosting provider under its own rules.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, data portability and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To exercise your rights write to sklep@made-it.pl. You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw) or with the authority in your country of residence.

8. Changes

We may update this policy, for example after a change in law or in how the Shop works. The current version is in force since 12.10.2026.
