MadeIT InPost
MadeIT InPost gives your customers a parcel locker map at checkout for free. The Pro add-on adds the other half of the job: creating the InPost shipment from the order, downloading the PDF label and passing cash on delivery.

Installation and setup
MadeIT InPost adds the "InPost Parcel Locker" shipping method to WooCommerce and a map to choose the pickup point at checkout. It needs WooCommerce, WordPress 6.6+ and PHP 8.0+.
- Install and activate WooCommerce and MadeIT InPost.
- In WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping add "InPost Parcel Locker (MadeIT)" to a shipping zone (for example Poland) and set the cost.
- Optionally enter the map token in MadeIT InPost → Map. Without it customers type the point code.
The shipping method Free
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Method name | Shown to the customer in the cart and at checkout. |
| Shipping cost | The net amount if your shop charges tax on shipping. |
| Free from | The value of products after discounts from which shipping is free. Leave empty to turn the threshold off. |
| Tax status | Taxable or none. |
MadeIT InPost → Settings → Scope lists the methods found in your shipping zones with their cost, threshold and state (enabled or disabled).
Choosing a parcel locker at checkout Free
- After the customer picks the InPost method, a point picker appears under the shipping options, in the classic and the block checkout.
- With a map token the customer clicks "Choose a parcel locker on the map" and picks a point on the InPost map (Geowidget). After choosing they see the point code and address and can change it.
- Without a token the customer types the point code (for example WAW01M). The code is validated.
- The "Require choosing a parcel locker before the order is placed" option blocks an order without a point.
The map loads a script and styles from InPost's servers (geowidget.inpost.pl) only when you set a token and a customer opens the map.
The point in the order Free
- The chosen point (code and address) is saved in the order.
- The customer sees it on the order page and in the emails, and you see it in the InPost box on the order screen.
Map settings Free
MadeIT InPost → Map: the <strong>map token (Geowidget)</strong> from the InPost Parcel Manager (API tab) and the <strong>test mode</strong> option (InPost sandbox) for tokens from a test account.
ShipX shipments and labels PRO
In the InPost box on the order screen a form to create a shipment appears: the point code, the parcel size and a "Create shipment" button.
- In MadeIT InPost → Shipments enter the ShipX organization ID and API token from the InPost Parcel Manager. It is a different token than the map token.
- In the order check the point code and the parcel size, then click "Create shipment".
- When ShipX has generated the label, click "Download label (PDF)" (A6 format). "Refresh status" reads the status and the tracking number, which is also added as an order note.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Default parcel size | A (8 × 38 × 64 cm), B (19 × 38 × 64 cm) or C (41 × 38 × 64 cm). You can change it in every order. |
| Sending method | Courier pickup or drop-off in a parcel locker. |
ShipX requires a Polish mobile number with 9 digits. The plugin removes the +48 or 0048 prefix and tells you when the number in the order cannot be used.
Cash on delivery (COD) PRO
When the payment method of the order is cash on delivery, the order total is passed to ShipX automatically as the COD amount, together with the order currency.
Look and texts of the picker PRO
The Appearance tab sets the colour of the button and the frame with a preview. The Texts tab changes the hint, the buttons, the message about the chosen point (placeholders <code>{point}</code> and <code>{address}</code>) and the error when nothing is chosen.
Pro license and updates PRO
- Download the add-on from your customer account and upload it in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Activate it. It needs MadeIT InPost and WooCommerce to be active.
- In MadeIT InPost → License paste the 32-character key and click "Save and activate".
Troubleshooting
- The parcel locker picker is not visible: the customer must choose the "InPost Parcel Locker" method, and the method must be enabled in the customer's shipping zone.
- ShipX rejects the request: check the organization ID and the token, and whether test mode matches the kind of token.
- The label is not ready: ShipX needs a moment. Try again after a few seconds.
- The Shipments tab does not appear: the free plugin must be active and the add-on activated.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need the free plugin as well?
Yes. MadeIT InPost Pro is an add-on and needs the free MadeIT InPost plugin from WordPress.org to be installed and active.
Is anything in the free plugin locked until I buy Pro?
No. The free plugin is complete: the shipping method, the map at checkout, saving the point in the order and showing it. Pro adds shipments, labels, cash on delivery and the look and wording options.
What do I need from InPost?
An InPost account with API access. In the InPost Parcel Manager you get the ShipX organization ID and the API token. The map uses a separate Geowidget token.
Does it work in the InPost sandbox?
Yes. Turn on test mode on the Map tab of the free plugin and use sandbox tokens. The Pro add-on then talks to the ShipX sandbox.
Which phone numbers does ShipX accept?
A Polish mobile number with 9 digits. The add-on removes the +48 or 0048 prefix and tells you when the number in the order cannot be used.
What happens to my shipments if I deactivate Pro?
Nothing is lost. The shipment, the status and the tracking number stay in the order. You just cannot create new shipments or download labels until you reactivate Pro.
What happens when the license expires?
The installed version keeps working without limits. Only new versions and support are paused until you renew.
How many sites can I use one license on?
One license covers one site. You can detach the site in your customer account and activate the license somewhere else.
Does the add-on send customer data to MadeIT Labs?
No. It sends only the license key and the site address to MadeIT Labs to check the license. Shipment data goes only to InPost ShipX.
